Back to Residential Projects
This was a ‘period style’ refurbishment of an original timber workers cottage with an extension to the rear living areas.

Huge recycled Blackbutt timber beams and columns were utilised to the extension which acted as structural components whilst their detailed assembly allowed them to be left exposed as feature components of the finished home.

Cathedral ceilings, timber windows, timber doors and decking are used throughout the extension to create what appears a seamless transition from the original cottage into the light filled contemporary living area, kitchen & laundry to the rear.
