Winner - 2013 Master Builders Excellence in Housing Awards - Design & Construct

This design and construct project was for a substantial alteration and addition to a single level cottage. The steep slope of the block and limited access made it a challenge both in terms of design and construction due to the large scope and required excavation to the rear.

Restrictions impacting on heritage, floor space ratio, side setbacks & tree preservation created challenges from a design perspective due to those constraints within a tight site.

The finishes consist of a rich warm palette of teak, American oak, terrazzo, and off form concrete.
